Hello folks!

Nuxt UI gets a new Chart component, and seven shadcn registries shipped new pieces. You've got Manuel Matuzović's 2026 HTML boilerplate, Kyle Van Deusen on primitives vs semantic colors, Flavio Copes on 12 CSS features with no build step, plus Zernio for agent marketing APIs and Remocn for product demo videos.

Let's dive in 👇

## **🌟 Community News**

### [Nuxt UI v4.12.0](https://github.com/nuxt/ui/releases/tag/v4.12.0?ref=tailwindweekly.com)

Nuxt UI, the Vue and Nuxt component library from #222, has a new `Chart` component in 4.12\. It's built on TanStack Charts and renders line, area, bar, and donut charts as SVG on the server, with series colors that follow your theme. If you use `@nuxtjs/i18n`, `App` now follows the current locale and only bundles the locales you list. Pages also load up to 27% less JavaScript, since overlays like menus, command palettes, and toasts are lazy loaded now.

### New components in the shadcn ecosystem

Seven registries shipped new pieces this week.

### [My HTML boilerplate in 2026](https://matuzo.at/blog/2026/html-boilerplate?ref=tailwindweekly.com)

Manuel Matuzović walks through his 2026 HTML starter line by line. He covers `meta name="text-scale"` for mobile OS text sizing, favicon and maskable icon setup, an optional Markdown alternate for LLMs, and when scripts and CSS should block vs defer.

### [The Color System I Wish I Understood Sooner](https://theadminbar.com/semantics-and-primitives-color-system/?ref=tailwindweekly.com)

Kyle Van Deusen splits color into primitives (the HEX palette) and semantics (`--button-background` via `var(--…)`). Change `--blue-600` once and buttons, links, and CTAs move together, or retarget only the semantic token when a client wants orange. There's a video on the post too.

### [12 CSS features you can use today with no build step](https://flaviocopes.com/modern-css-features/?ref=tailwindweekly.com)

Flavio Copes lists 12 native CSS features that retire Sass and PostCSS hacks: nesting, `:has()`, container queries, subgrid, `oklch()` with `color-mix()`, `@layer`, and more. He notes support as of Sep 21, and calls out which ones aren't Baseline yet, like scroll-driven animations.
