It's been a quiet week on the official front but we did get a few sneak peeks at what's coming, all is in the next News section, I must admit I'm pretty excited about the first sneak peek, it's gonna be revolutionary for a lot of sites! This is gonna be huge for big projects and sites with multiple themes, like the example shows. Imagine generating different CSS files for your app's admin side and public side. It talks about the basics and how colors have changed in CSS and how you should work with it now. It's from the popular YouTuber [Kevin Powell](http://the%20popular%20youtuber%20kevin%20powell%20released%20a%20video/?utm%5Fsource=tailwind-weekly.beehiiv.com&utm%5Fmedium=referral&utm%5Fcampaign=tailwind-weekly-98-upcoming-features-css-colors-and-cascade-layers) so you know it's gonna be good! ### [Using CSS Cascade Layers to Manage Custom Styles in a Tailwind Project](https://css-tricks.com/using-css-cascade-layers-to-manage-custom-styles-in-a-tailwind-project/?ref=tailwindweekly.com) This is an excellent article on how to mix Tailwind's @layer directive with the [CSS Cascade Layers](http://css%20cascade%20layers/?utm%5Fsource=tailwind-weekly.beehiiv.com&utm%5Fmedium=referral&utm%5Fcampaign=tailwind-weekly-98-upcoming-features-css-colors-and-cascade-layers) feature, according to the post you can avoid having to use !important if you set up your cascade layers properly. It has a very clean layout and uses color contrast and subtle gradients to add emphasize part of the content.
