February 2020 🤙— Adam Wathan (@adamwathan) December 19, 2019
☝️ Pretty much 99% convinced I'm just going to make this v1.2 so nobody is scared off and everyone upgrades without fear. With any luck we'll just never need a true v2 — I don't want to update my fucking projects either 😅— Adam Wathan (@adamwathan) December 26, 2019
It’s official, Tailwind 2 is coming folks! It’ll be named v1.2 to avoid confusion (since it doesn’t introduce breaking changes) and it’ll introduce official transition classes.
People, Adam is asking for feedback on its transition utilities PR, if any of you want to voice your opinion on it, now’s your chance!

Yes, yes. We’re all waiting for Tailwind UI. This gotta be Adam’s most anticipated product after Refactoring UI!
We received update #5 a few weeks ago (if you didn’t then subscribe to the newsletter here) and it looks like the launch will be on late Jan/early Feb.
In the mean time, feast your eyes on the Kanban demo app Adam created on one of its livestreams.
📚Tutorial of the week

Cool introduction to Tailwind plus a very complete Tailwind + Parcel starter project. If you like Parcel and want to know how to bundle Tailwind with it then you’ll like this tutorial.
💅Showcase of the week
Beautiful and minimalistic. Check out this week’s website made with Tailwind. I particularly love the zoom in animations and the clean layout.
🎁Resource of the week

For those that missed it on the Discord, we now have a class sorter extension for VSCode! It’s still on its early stages but its already very useful if you want to standardize your classed order.
