Tailwind Weekly #15: 1st May TailwindUI Update + a call for volunteers!

Hello again folks! This week we have a new update for TailwindUI + the usual goodies and a special call for volunteers.

I’m also experimenting with a new section called “Overheard on Twitter”. I think it helps a lot when other people talk about Tailwind and its impact on their workflow so stay tuned for more tweets to come in the future!

Marketing Flyouts Promo Image ❤️

We got a brand new update for TailwindUI, the first one of May.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Added new Headers category to the Marketing package, with 4 examples
  • Added new Flyout Menus category to the Marketing package, with 6 examples

Not bad at all! Also remember that if you want to see what’s coming next, you can check out the roadmap on trello.

Overheard on twitter

I know Bart, tailwind’s focus on DX is truly insane. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to coding a design by writing CSS from scratch ever again 😂.

🎁Resource of the week

This plugin enables bidirectional language support on TailwindCSS. This is an extremely useful plugin if you work with right-to-left languages like Arabic or Hebrew. Makes supporting them a breeze. Be sure to thank user 20lives for this plugin!

Call for volunteers

Hey folks, I’m working on a few TailwindCSS templates which I plan to sell and I’m looking for 10 volunteers to get an honest review from, in exchange you’ll get all the templates files and 5 hours of consultation time if you need help setting it up for your project.

You can look at the templates here:
