📚Learning of the week

How to install Tailwind CSS v2.0 using Ruby on Rails

For the ruby folks, this is an updated guide that uses v2.0, I particularly liked that it gives you the PurgeCSS configuration and shows you how to update your `layout` file. Very useful if you’re starting from scratch.

💅Showcase of the week

Campamentos ALYAX 2020

I know, its in Spanish but bear with me. This week’s showcase is a website for a camping program for kids. Why am I featuring it? Because it looks awesome! The great use of bright colors, the clean information organization and the images really sold it for me.

🎁Resource of the week

tailwindcss-box-shadow

First plugin recommendation in quite a while eh? This one solved a very particular problem, it generates standard box-shadow utilities, without CSS variables. So if you’re working with emails or even internet explorer, this is for you.

At Tailwind Made, we recently launched our latest template, Atlas! Atlas is perfect for that personal blog you always wanted to start. It has a dark mode, a configured typography plugin, and it’s fully responsive. We also have a legal/business and an e-commerce template if you’re interested.

Imagine if you could go to any website, find a section/element you like, and get the approximate tailwind values to code it yourself. Like that idea? Then Windy is for you, the tool is still in its early stages but it looks very promising.

Need to build a quick marketing page for your next project? Then try out Tails! Tails is the ultimate drag'n drop page builder built for TailwindCSS, they have a great selection of components (over 120+), let you export your code, and have very affordable pricing.
